This Thanksgiving, I have so many things to be thankful for; more than I can fit in this little blog post. I am so incredibly, tremendously, over-the-top, blessed.

From us to you, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Tights Weather

Sweater: Old Navy
Skirt: Gap
Belt: Old Navy
Tights: Target
Shoes: DSW

I can't tell you how excited I am to be wearing tights! I think tights are the best thing about cold weather. (Boots are a close 2nd.) I have your basic black and brown tights, but I'm looking forward to getting some fun colors this winter. I'm thinking burgandy, like this or this.

Hooray for tights!

Hello, Fall

Dress: Target
Jacket: American Eagle
Belt: Target
Shoes: DSW

Fall comes around every year, but it seems to blow me away each time. The colors, the cool air, the warm sunshine; I love it all. I can't imagine living in a place with no fall. Give me a beautiful fall day, and I'm a happy girl.

This American Eagle jacket is a piece of clothing I hope I never wear out/ruin/grow out of. It's one of my favorite things in my closet, and seriously, I might cry if something ever happens to it. I got it a few years ago in the clearance rack, for under $20. It was the only one left, and it just so happened to be my size. Meant to be? I think so. And we lived happily ever after.

Frog Legs

Pants: Target
Sweater: Old Navy
Scarf: Marshall's
Flats: DSW

Frog legs. This is the first thing that pops into my head when I look at these pictures. That, and how ghostly white I am. Seriously, a trip to the beach would not kill me. These shoes, however, almost do kill me. They were on clearance at DSW and even though they were a smidge too small, I bought them anyways. Gold-studded shoes are just too hard to resist.

Seeing Stripes

Skirt: Old Navy
Jacket: Old Navy
Tank: Banana Republic
Necklace: Nestled
Shoes: DSW

This morning is cold, dark and rainy, which means my coffee cup is a little bit bigger and my hair is a little bit frizzier. It also means my brain is not fully functioning at this hour, which is why this post is so short.
The end.
Happy Tuesday!

Team Old Navy

Tank: Old Navy
Vest: Old Navy
Pants: Old Navy
Belt: Old Navy
Sandals: Target
Bracelet: Nestled (New!! Comes in more colors, too!)

See a trend here? What can I say, I like my Old Navy. I would guess that more than half of my clothes are from Old Navy. Most days, I'm basically a walking advertisement for Old Navy.
They really should start paying me for all the publicity.

Pastels

Tank: Old Navy
Pants: Target
Sandals: Target
Ring: c/o NS Pottery on Etsy

Sorry guys, I know I've been MIA for the past few weeks here. I've been super busy with my Etsy shop - woohoo! That's a happy excuse. :) It's been going so well, and I'm so thankful!

Speaking of Etsy, I'd like to introduce you to NS Pottery, a handmade pottery shop on Etsy run by my cousin Natalie. She's a potter, and makes everything from kitchenware to jewelry. I have several of her pieces throughout my home; a small casserole dish in my kitchen, soap dishes in both bathrooms, and now this new ring! I love it. It was the perfect finishing touch to my pastel outfit yesterday. NS Pottery has lots of other great stuff, so go check it out!

Floral and Fuschia

Tank: Target
Skirt: Old Navy
Sandals: Charlotte Russe
Necklace: ebay
Earrings: Nestled

Hope you had a lovely weekend! I sure did. Saturday the hubs and I went out for breakfast, and then... did nothing. Sometimes doing absolutely nothing together is the best way to spend the day. Especially if you add a little bit of this in the mix:

The best black raspberry ice cream ever. And look, it even matches my outfit. :)

Melon Pants

Tank: Old Navy
Lace cami: Banana Republic
Pants: Target
Sandals: Old Navy
Bracelets: thrifted / flea market
Necklace: Nestled

These pants are affectionately known in my family as "the melon pants." They seem to spark a lot of melon jokes ("nice melons!") and make for nice dinner conversation ("they make me hungry for cantaloupe").

Hey you, I've added a few new items in my Etsy shop! Take a look!

Stripes and Bubbles

This is my I'm done and I have to pee look.

Top: Target
Pants: Target
Sandals: Old Navy
Necklace: ebay

I've been eyeing this J.Crew bubble necklace ever since I joined the world of Pinterest. If you're on Pinterest, you have probably definitely seen this gorgeous necklace floating around. It's amazing. The $150 price tag... not so amazing. So I found this nearly identical necklace on ebay for $16. No, that is no typo. 16 bucks. That's less than a jumbo pack of toilet paper. (I must have to pee again.)

Oh, can I just say, kudos to my loving hubby. After an almost 12-hour work day, I'm sure the last thing he wants to do when he gets home is be his wife's fashion photographer. But he does it anyways. I love him.

Memorial Day

Top: Marshall's
Pants: Old Navy
Sandals: Old Navy
Necklaces: Nestled and my flea market bracelet worn as a necklace

I'm pretty sure I ate my body weight in watermelon over the weekend. And I'm even more sure I looked like a watermelon after all of the other delicious food I ate. But it was all part of a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I am blessed! I hope yours was wonderful too!
