Here's something I haven't done for awhile - a muted, more subtle nail polish color. Lately I've been sporting bright, sometimes nearly neon colors, but this is a pleasant change. Don't get me wrong... I still love my bright and cheery polishes and won't be getting rid of them any time soon! But this pretty Essie color might be one of my new favorites.

(Preeeetty sure I say that about every new color I get my hands on.)

This is my first humble attempt at an outfit post. I've been stalking countless fashion blogs lately, and I decided I would jump on the bandwagon and give it a try myself. Hubby isn't feeling well, so I took these with either a tripod or my awkwardly outstretched arm. Not ideal.

Four Things

Learning how to make a fishtail braid,

new wedges for spring (which I can't wear... because it's snowing. Seriously?)

liquid eyeliner, a new staple in my makeup routine,

and sweet roasted red pepper hummus, my new obsession. I think you could eat this with a piece of cardboard and it would still taste good... I prefer crackers though.
